Chugging along: 3-day Big Sky Passenger Rail conference opens in Livingston

The planning work on the passenger rail project is progressing to restore twice-daily service within a decade, according to a recent City of Livingston newsletter. Livingston City Manager Grant Gager has been on the BSPRA board since late 2023.

"Four years ago, the knee-jerk reaction was 'this is not going to happen," said Townsend City Council member J.B. Howick at Monday's conference. "The inevitability is this is going to happen, not if but when." Full article (pdf)
